Dwelling Place Global
Dwelling Place Global is a gathering in Houston where believers, pastors, and leaders from across the nations come together to celebrate what God is doing around the world, build relationships, and encounter the presence of Jesus.
When Dwelling Place Church wanted to create something meaningful for the people attending, they turned to a familiar partner: MSTRY COFFEE.
We'd previously worked together to create a custom Ethiopian coffee for their 232 Conference.
This time, the opportunity was different.
They wanted a coffee that reflected the gathering itself. Intentional, memorable, and worth sharing.
IntroducinG The
Inspired by the Maranatha Cry, Midnight Cry Blend was created exclusively for Dwelling Place Global.
And while the name might make you imagine a dark, intense roast, the coffee itself offers something beautifully…unexpected.
We brought together two distinct coffee origins: Brazil and Guatemala, then we roasted it light/medium. Brazil contributes a rich, chocolatey foundation, while Guatemala introduces delicate fruit notes and caramel sweetness.
Together, they create a balanced cup with gentle acidity, minimal bitterness, and an elegant mouthfeel.

Great coffee starts with great conversations.
To find the right coffee for Dwelling Place Global, we hosted a private tasting with church leaders and team members.
Together, we explored different coffees, discussed flavor profiles, and considered what would best represent the gathering.
Guatemala held particular significance because it was among the nations represented at the event.
Pairing Guatemalan coffee with Brazilian beans created something special: a balanced, memorable blend that could be enjoyed by people with a wide range of coffee preferences.
After tasting the options together, the team selected Midnight Cry Blend.
200 Bags
Countless Opportunities to Connect
For Dwelling Place Global, we produced 200 custom four-ounce bags of Midnight Cry Blend.
Each bag contains enough specialty coffee to brew approximately six to eight cups, giving recipients something they can enjoy long after the gathering ends.
The coffee was created to be shared with international delegates (we like to call them Dwell-egates) as a gift, with additional opportunities to make the blend available through the church's café—Circle Couch Coffee—and gift shop.
It's a small, tangible reminder of a much bigger experience.
